The Terms of Reference given to the Committee were as follows: a/ to discuss and advise the Executive Committee on problems arising or foreseen from advancements in science
, b/ to participate in public debates and to make recommendations on behalf of FEBS, c/ to interact with other organisations engaged in similar activities, d/ to organise a symposium or colloquium at the annual FEBS meeting. He was elected for the term 2012-2015.
