The National Science Centre Grant's for the Nencki Institute

The National Science Centre has published ranking lists of projects which have qualified for financial backing within the limits of the competitions announced by the NSC on 17th March, 2014. Scientists from the Nencki Institute received financial backing for the 9 research projects they worked on in OPUS7, PRELUDIUM6 and SONATA7 competitions.

 

OPUS - Competition for research projects, which included financing the purchase or production of research equipment necessary for the implementation of these projects

dr hab. Paweł Dobrzyń - Stearoyl-CoA desaturase and intracellular lipid signaling as novel players in regulation of thyroid hormone action in the heart.

prof. dr hab. Andrzej Antoni Kasprzak  - Role of posttranslational tubulin modification in interaction of kinesin motor proteins with mcrotubules

 

PRELUDIUM - Competition for research projects carried out by people starting a career in science who do not hold a doctor’s degree.

mgr Konrad Józef Dębski - Searching for common features in DNA methylation and its influence on gene expression in three different animal models of temporal lobe epilepsy.

mgr Paulina Elżbieta Urbańska - FAP43, a novel motilie cilia protein involved in cilia beating regulation.
