The National Science Centre Grant's for the Nencki Institute

The National Science Centre has published ranking lists of projects which have qualified for financial backing within the limits of the competitions announced by the NSC on 16th June, 2015. Scientists from the Nencki Institute received financial backing for the 4 research projects they worked on in HARMONIA 7 and SONATA Bis 5competitions.

  

HARMONIA competition for research projects carried out in the framework of international cooperation with international non-co-funding.

dr hab. Katarzyna Łukasiuk - Transcriptional regulation of epilepsy-related disfunctions in circadian gene expression in mouse hippocampus.

 

SONATA Bis – competition addressed to researchers with 2-12 years scientific experience since their PhD award. 

dr inż. Adriana Magalska - Mechanisms and consequences of activity-driven chromatin remodeling in neurons.
dr Bogusz Kulawiak - Mechanisms of mitochondrial cytoprotection - identification of mitoBK channel interactions with mitochondrial proteins.
dr Ksenia Meyza - Assessment of synaptic plasticity impairments within the amygdalar complex in mouse models of autism spectrum disorder.
