Requirements:

 

  • PhD degree in a relevant field (up to 7 years after the award),
  • work experience - previous work (during PhD or post-doc) in the field of epigenetics and / or brain tumors
  • skills - the candidate will be able to work independently as well as in a team with other laboratory members. The candidate will plan / implement new experiences as well as support the already ongoing work in the project
  • competences - the candidate must have experience in the techniques of molecular and cell biology (such as: cell culture, Western blotting, DNA / RNA isolation, Real-Time PCR, preparation of libraries for next-generation sequencing).

 

Scope of tasks:

 

We are looking for a candidate that will join the final phase of the project. The project concerns the study of changes in chromatin under the influence of epigenetic drugs in pediatric brain tumors. The candidate will take part in the whole-genomic chromatin tests using the MNase- / ChIP- / RNA-seq methods and the validation of these results using biology methods molecular. The candidate will prepare reports with the results of research, participate in the preparation of manuscripts, presenting the results at international conferences and local seminars.
